# Zooms that follow your clicks. And stay editable.

> ScreenBadger turns your clicks into smooth, editable zooms. It frames dialogs, offers a glass lens for typing, and lets you adjust every camera move on the timeline.

ScreenBadger watches where you click, scroll, and open menus, then plans smooth camera moves for you. Every zoom lands on the timeline, where you can move it, resize it, or delete it.

## The camera goes where you click.

Nearby clicks are grouped into one shot, wider controls are fitted, and the view eases back out when you scroll or navigate. Clicks on blank areas or disabled controls don’t trigger a zoom.

- Groups nearby clicks
- Returns to normal on scroll or navigation
- Ignores clicks that don’t do anything

## Show the result, not just the click.

When a click opens a dialog, menu, or status message, ScreenBadger can frame that result instead of the button you pressed. Dialogs are held long enough to read.

- Frames dialogs, menus, and alerts
- Falls back to click framing when unsure

## Choose how bold the camera is.

Pick Calm, Balanced, or Detail to set how far it zooms, how long it holds, and how much it looks ahead. Changing the style regenerates the zooms and keeps your manual edits.

- Calm, Balanced, and Detail styles
- Manual edits are preserved

## Keep the whole page in view.

Set the zoom type to Glass lens and a round magnifier follows the cursor instead of the whole frame zooming in, so typing and small text stay readable without losing context. Typed text is never stored, and private fields stay protected.

- Classic zoom or Glass lens
- Adjustable lens size and magnification
- Follows the caret while you type

## Every move is yours to change.

Zooms appear as blocks on the timeline. Drag them, change their length, set fixed framing or cursor following, add your own, or regenerate the automatic ones at any time.

- Move, resize, or delete any zoom
- Add manual zooms
- Separate landscape and portrait framing

## Frequently asked questions

### Is auto zoom available on the free plan?

Yes. Automatic and manual zooms are included in Free, along with every editing tool.

### Does auto zoom use AI or upload my screen?

No. Zooms are planned locally from your clicks, scrolling, and page structure. Nothing is uploaded, and no AI model is involved.

### Does auto zoom work when I record my entire screen?

No. Auto zoom needs a tab recording, where ScreenBadger can see the page. For Entire screen recordings, add zooms by hand on the timeline.

### What if a zoom lands in the wrong place?

Move it, resize it, or delete it on the timeline, or click the preview to retarget a fixed shot. You can also regenerate automatic zooms without losing your manual edits.

### Does auto zoom work on every website?

It works best on regular web pages. Canvas-based apps, closed shadow roots, and cross-origin frames give it less to go on, so ScreenBadger falls back to simpler click framing there.
