Blur the private parts.
Before anyone sees them.
ScreenBadger spots sensitive fields while you record and blurs them in the preview and every export. For anything else, draw a blur over the exact area and time you need.

Automatic masks
Sensitive fields blur themselves.
Password, token, payment, and email fields are detected during recording and blurred in the preview, MP4, and GIF. Masks follow the field as the page scrolls or resizes.
- Passwords, tokens, payment, and email fields
- Follows scrolling and resizing
- On by default, and can be turned off
Mark while recording
Point at anything else to hide it.
Alt+Shift-click an element on the page during recording to mark it as private. It shows up as a suggested mask in the editor, ready to turn on.
- Alt+Shift-click to mark an element
- Review suggestions under Selection
Manual blur
Draw a blur exactly where you need it.
Add a blur region, move and resize it over the area, and set when it starts and ends on the timeline. Use it for anything automatic detection can’t see.
- Move and resize on the canvas
- Timed on the timeline
Stays local
Masks are applied when you export.
Detection and blurring happen in your browser. Only the type of field, its position, and timing are stored, never its contents, and your original recording stays on your device.
- Typed text is never saved
- Blurs are burned into MP4 and GIF exports
FAQ
Questions about privacy blur
Which fields are blurred automatically?
Password, token, payment, and email fields, plus elements a site marks as private and anything you Alt+Shift-click while recording. Content inside iframes needs a manual blur.
Is the original recording blurred too?
No. Blurs are applied to the preview and to exports. The original source recording stays unblurred in your browser, so you can adjust masks later.
Can I rely on automatic blur alone?
Treat it as a strong first pass, not a guarantee. Fast changes on the page, iframes, and canvas content can be missed, so watch the export before you share it. Automatic masks need a tab recording; for Entire screen recordings, draw blurs by hand.
Are privacy tools part of the free plan?
Yes. Automatic masks and manual blur are both included in Free.
